Data Analysts have experience defining and analyzing complex data issues, developing visualizations, and constructing compelling presentations for senior business executives. Consultants have a passion for homeland security and analytics, a desire to make an impact to connect with stakeholders, and a strong interest in supporting a consulting company. They support cross-agency analysis of homeland security data.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of data science, statistical analysis, data management, and visualizations
- Experience using data management and visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, R, SAS, or Power BI
- Skilled at deriving meaningful and actionable recommendations from analytical work products to improve business processes
- Communicate analysis findings, insights, and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders through clear, innovative visualizations and concise language
- Excellent written communications skills
- Strong interest in homeland security and emergency management
- Strong interest in contributing to the growth mission-focused consulting firm
- U.S. Citizenship only
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant advanced degree (MBA, MPP, MS, etc.)
- Significant experience in analytic and statistical analysis
- Experience with emergency management and disaster preparedness/response
- Authorship of peer-reviewed publications
