Job Description

We are looking for a creative, driven individual who enjoys creating data-driven animations. We provide world-class analysis and monitoring of topics in social media for entertainment, sports, and news.

We want you to help take the data from our social media analysis tools and bring it to life in compelling, entertaining, and informative ways through 2D and 3D animation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of experience working in 2D/3D computer animation
Proficient in OpenGL or high level libraries for animating and rendering 3D scenes
Interested in big data, data visualization, social media, motion graphics
Proficient in at least one programming language: Java, Python, C++ or similar

Desired Skills / Extras

Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or similar
Any experience with big data, data mining, statistical learning, etc.
Proficient with Hadoop
Proficient with social media APIs (twitter, instagram, tumblr, etc)
Experience with HTML5, Javascript, and webGL for animation
Any experience with data-driven animation
Proficient with Maya or similar animation tool
Experience with broadcast platforms such as Chyron or Xpression
