Data Engineer, Visualization & Reporting

This is a full time position based in our office in Menlo Park.
Responsibilities
Manage reporting/dashboard plans for a product or a group of products.
Interface with engineers, product managers and product analysts to understand data needs.
Build data expertise and own data quality in allocation areas of ownership.
Design, develop, test, launch new reports and dashboards into production.
Provide support to reports and dashboards running in production.
Define and manage SLA for all data sets in allocated areas of ownership.
Work with data infrastructure to triage infra issues and drive to resolution.
Requirements
A degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.
7+ years experience in the reporting and data visualization space.
Expert level skills in building custom reports and dashboards.
Expert level skills in Schema design and Dimensional data modeling.
Expert level ability to analyze data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies.
Ability to write efficient SQL statements.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights.
Experience building custom reports using multiple tools like Tableau strongly preferred.
Experience building custom reports using a programming language like PHP is highly preferred.
