RSG Media Systems, a recognized leader in the Media & Entertainment domain, is seeking a bright, talented mid-level ASP .Net  developer who's experienced in WCF to work alongside our various experienced development teams. 

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to think strategically, to learn rapidly and to be unafraid of new challenges in technology.  Experience in the Media & Entertainment domain would be a plus. The selected candidate would work in an environment with veteran developers, presenting them with an opportunity to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years development experience
  • 2+ yrs of work experience in ASP.net, C#
    • At least a year of experience with WCF Services
  • Very strong C# fundamentals and has experience in building applications in C#
  • Experience and proficiency in client side scripting languages, in particular HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Experience building UI with third party components like Infragistics, Telerik
  • Experience with Oracle DB, and a sound knowledge of SQL programming
• Bachelor of Science/Engineering/Computer Science degree from a reputable university
• Good communication skills upline, as well as peer-to-peer
• Excellent project and time management skills is a must
• Must be able to work well independently or in a team environment
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must be agile and able to thrive in a fast paced working environment

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain high performance, scalable software systems
• Improve the reliability and efficiency of our products’ core modules
• Develop elegant solutions to complex problems
• Implement new features, changes, enhancements, etc. to our product
• Perform QA testing if necessary and address, escalate software quality issues as they arise
• Work with team to make sure that software runs optimally in production
• Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement proactively
• Collaborate with product team to define clear requirements, deliverables, and milestones for new projects
• Design, test, develop, and deploy production-ready applications
