With support from Bloomberg Philanthropies, we've collaborated with major companies on a prototype and are gearing up to launch the beta version in late fall. Objectives of this role include:
Guides the development of advanced models for forecasting labor supply and demand with employers.
Leads the architecture of Radius data models.
Guides procurement of data from employers and other sources.
Scope of Work:
Utilize your expertise to conduct an in-depth analysis of workforce supply and demand dynamics within the healthcare, manufacturing, and finance sectors.
Drive the evolution of the data model architecture that forms the foundation of our MVP.
Identify, evaluate, and interpret trends in workforce planning (supply, demand, and talent acquisition metrics) requirements to support F1000 companies.
Apply a blend of labor market statistical knowledge, data analysis, and data pipeline management tools to derive meaningful conclusions from complex datasets.
Translate data-driven insights into actionable strategies and recommendations, becoming a trusted advisor for companies in optimizing their workforce planning and resource allocation.
Effectively communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through compelling presentations and reports. Be able to proactively speak up when plans need to change.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance data collection methodologies, improve data quality, and innovate analytical processes. Direct data analyst work to bring projects to completion.
Guide data partnerships with employers and other prospective data partners.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of available labor market data sources and their various strengths/weaknesses.
Integrate external data sources into our software to improve accuracy and extend geographic reach of the Talent Radar.
Skills, abilities, and attributes we’re looking for:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in a data-focused role
Experience with machine learning techniques for labor market predictive analytics.
Understanding of regulatory compliance and data privacy within HR data sets.
Ability to explain labor economic models - demand and supply side modeling with a focus on predictive analytics - to others who do not have content expertise.
Prior experience with developing, maintaining, and using large data sets.
HR Data and ETL pipeline development experience is a plus.
A track record of leveraging data to drive business decisions.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
Proactive contributor with the ability to guide and proof/validate data analyst work in-order to deliver a sustained data pipeline.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
Requirements:
Must have 5+ years in HR analytics, workforce planning, labor market intelligence, or labor economics.
