Position Summary

The Director of Marketing Analytics will be responsible for successfully building and leading the business analytics function at Rosetta Stone. This is a completely new role for Rosetta Stone, we are looking for someone to really drive the creation of the function on a global scale.

Job Profile Summary

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the development of a business driver framework to understand and quantify the impact and return on investment of key marketing and promotional decisions
Analyze aspects of digital marketing programs and provide recommendations to improve performance; build and manage predictive models as needed
Manage tracking and reporting and insights across multiple digital marketing programs
Be a key driver in decision making at the Executive level related to business planning, investments and marketing and sales strategy
Provide quantitative recommendations to influence implementation of analysis-based program changes. Obtain support and buy-in for recommended changes from partners
Work closely with Business Partners to inform them of Business trends and performance related to marketing initiatives

Responsibility Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

10+ years of experience implementing Business Analytics, should have extensive knowledge collecting data from various data sources and validating, combining, structuring, storing, distributing and analyzing data
5+ years of management experience
Experience in deep dive analysis in customer behavior in eCommerce space
Experience handling large amounts of consumer data and working with data mining and reporting tools
Excellent analytical and strategic skills
Bachelors degree in marketing, economics, finance, statistics, computer science or engineering
Advanced degree (MBA) preferred
Ability to establish influential relationships internally and external
Executive level written and verbal presentation and communication skills
Superior financial modeling skills using Excel and proficiency with PowerPoint
Proven track record of leading teams and delivering solutions to the business
