As a Front End Developer, you will help us create and refine software that transforms people’s ability to make sense of vast amounts of critical data.

Job Description

Build beautiful, engaging web interfaces to manage the data science workflow and support stunning data visualizations.

What you'll be doing:

Working with a team of product managers, UX designers, and engineers to design and build new features and interfaces
Contributing to design discussions for both front-end interaction and engineering systems
Learning new software languages
Collaborating on product and feature planning

Qualifications

You'll need:

JavaScript skills, and of course, HTML5 and CSS. CoffeeScript a plus.

Experience with client-side frameworks, Backbone or Angular.
Familiarity with Node.
Have controlled source with git.
Some experience building real-time apps (e.g. with Socket.io)

Extra Points:

Python a huge plus.
Experience with visualization libraries like d3.js.
Visual design skills or graphic design training.
Experience with a (relatively) modern front-end toolchain: grunt, bower, etc.
