Job Description

As a member of Vistaprint's Analytics team, you will perform detailed analyses of our website and customers with a focus on Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing campaigns.  You will work closely with marketing managers to understand business needs, translate business needs into actionable analytics plans, and present associated findings and recommendations.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Apply your advanced data mining knowledge to our 20 million strong customer base, identifying opportunities to drive marketing investments and improve customer lifetime value.

  • Leverage our state-of-the-art data visualization tool-set to analyze user behaviors -- page views, clicks, orders to help drive website design, marketing campaigns and general business decisions

  • Optimize Search Engine Marketing spend across keywords and engines.

  • Work with marketing and developers on multiple SEO efforts.

  • Execute sophisticated A/B and multivariate tests to optimize the customer experience and maximize sales.

  • Quickly respond to ad hoc analytic requests which are common in our dynamic, fast-paced, data-driven environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant field required
  • Proficient programming in SQL is a must (SAS or SPSS experience is a plus)
  • Comfortable independently performing exploratory data analysis
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability with emphasis on drawing inferences from data
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply new tools and techniques
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage projects supporting multiple business areas
  • Exemplary communication skills and strong business acumen; ability to understand corporate strategy, interact with clients and present actionable findings
  • Work within teams to integrate findings and models into company operations
  • Experience with web analytics concepts and tools such as WebTrends or Visual Sciences is a plus
