Senior Business Intelligence Developer job at Vistaprint

Job Description

As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer at Vistaprint, you will be responsible for developing ETL and reporting solutions in our multi-TB Microsoft SQL Server 2008 data warehouse environment. As a member of the Business Intelligence group, you will be working with a highly capable and dedicated data warehouse development team supporting the infrastructure used throughout our data-driven company for decision support, performance management, problem investigation and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

Maintain/create ETL processes (using stored procedures, SSIS, DTS or other ETL applications)
Maintain/create data delivery processes using a variety of tools (SSAS, SSRS, QlikView)
Responsible for requirements gathering, customer support, and continuous improvement.
Solve problems, prioritize deliverables and manage technical scope
Participate in on-call responsibility

Qualifications:

3-6 years of professional work experience as a BI developer using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
Strong ETL and EDW design skills (advanced understanding of star/snowflake, SCD)
Highly Proficient in T-SQL
Proven ability to analyze and solve large unstructured problems to maximize business value
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team player, highly motivated, enthusiastic and detail-oriented
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Experience with eCommerce/Manufacturing/Call Center transaction processing and reporting, a plus
Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica/DataStage/etc.), a plus
Familiarity with BI tool administration (Business Objects/Cognos/QlikView/etc.), a plus
