Great Entry Level Cloud Analytics Position

The new Intelligence Community Cloud construction is underway and Xcellent Technology Solutions (XTS) is looking for Cloud Analytics Developers who can join our fast growing team and deliver "Xcellent" support. The Cloud Analytics Developer will provide support towards the development and deployment of new algorithms and analytic software tools which will be used to implement and maintain the IC ITE Cloud. The Cloud Analytics Developer will devise analytic methods that allow qualitative measurement of big data at front end ingestion into Cloud and on the back-end of processing and analyzing. The Cloud Analytics Developer will apply their prior experiences in working with scalable distributed Big Data stores and reduction programming models. The ideal Cloud Analytics Developer shall possess the capability to perform any role in the development process from analyzing requirements to design, implementation, re-work, maintenance and finally testing.

Requirements

Must be a US citizen, you do not need an active clearance , though you must be a US citizen as of the time of resume submission. There are opportunities on this contract to obtain an active top secret clearance.
Bachelors degree in related field – or – 4 years of relevant work history (If you are referencing your Bachelors degree please include projects or course work which demonstrates the below listed proficiencies)
Proficiency using Accumulo, Cloudbase or HBase big table.
Proficiency utilizing Hadoop, HCatalog and Hive, including data processing tools including MapReduce and Pig
Knowledge of Java and Java-based file systems especially HDFS.
